Hoymiles’s new photovoltaic microinverter HMS series is connected to one panel and is flexible for various applications.
All of the Hoymiles HMS series are equipped with reactive power control and can meet the requirements of EN 50549-1:2019, VDE-AR-N 4105:2018, VFR2019, etc.
HMS series with the new Sub-1G wireless solution enables more stable communication under various environmental conditions.
The HMS-450 (MPN: HMS-450-1T) from Hoymiles is the perfect microinverter for your balcony power plant. The compact lightweight (only 1.75kg) is suitable for solar power production up to an output of 360 to 600+ each. Just like all other microinverters from Hoymiles, it is suitable for long operating hours and wide PV module applications, as its start-up is very low (only 22V) and the DC input range of the operating voltage (16-60V) is extremely wide.
Compared to the previous model from the HM series, the HMS-450 has become 0.23 kg lighter and offers more safety for rooftop solar power plants thanks to its quick shutdown and isolated transformer. The new sub-1G radio solution enables more stable communication with the Hoymiles gateway DTU.

Optimum reliability
Microinverter systems are inherently more reliable than conventional solar inverters. The decentralized design of a micro inverter system ensures that the entire PV system does not fail in the event of a fault. Hoymiles microinverters are designed to operate at full power in ambient temperatures up to +65°C (150°F). The housing of the micro inverter is designed for outdoor installation and complies with protection class IP67.
Simple design
PV systems with Hoymiles microinverters are very easy to plan. There is no need to install cumbersome conventional inverters. Each microinverter can be quickly mounted on the PV mounting frame or directly under the PV module. The PV module is connected to the microinverter directly on site, eliminating the risk of people being exposed to dangerously high DC voltage.
