The HUAWEI Smart String ESS LUNA2000-129KWH-2H1 is the ideal storage solution for commercial and industrial applications, both on-grid and off-grid. It is suitable for numerous business applications including maximum self-consumption, grid support and ancillary services, grid expansion cost avoidance, demand management and peak shaving through time-of-use policies.
Huawei has integrated a variety of proactive alarms and active safety mechanisms based on AI to optimize safety functions. These include intelligent diagnosis of internal short circuits, monitoring of fire sources, live insulation monitoring, multi-level shutdown and protection mechanisms, fast system shutdown, active gas release and fast fire suppression. An intelligent algorithm detects system anomalies and enables fault detection and isolation one day in advance.
Each battery pack contains a battery management module that ensures maximum usable energy and a longer service life. The Smart Battery Management Unit (BMU) provides accurate diagnostics and proactive alerts. The system includes a Smart PCS LUNA2000-100KTL-M1 for efficient charging and discharging with a capacity of 100 kW and a Smart Rack Controller for voltage adjustment and extended battery life. The communication and management unit (CMU) handles data acquisition, protocol conversion, central monitoring and maintenance.
With a footprint of 3.1 m², the container with the highest corrosion protection class and industrial-grade air conditioning takes up less than a third of a standard parking space and can also be used in confined spaces.
